Welcome to Artshack!
If you or someone you care about would like to learn how to get more creative or know more about a particular creative technique, then why not consider booking for our workshops in the new year, or buying a gift voucher? Because of the uncertainty regarding constantly changing covid restrictions, we have programmed dates for only a few workshops so far.
However, we will be offering you the chance to learn from so many artists, including Sam Johnson Squire ( screen printing and linocut) Katherine Soutar ( collage, gel print and collograph) Jill Bagnall ( glass fusing), Richard Edwards ( watercolour painting) Amy Smith ( jewellery) Nada Velickovic ( drawing) Jack Roberts ( machine embroidery) Maggie Allmark ( machine embroidery and wet felting) plus many more. All workshops are suitable for complete beginners as well as for people who want to improve their skills. As soon as things become clearer, dates will be added here on our website. Meantime, trust us, 2022 will be a very creative year!

Unleash Your Creativity!
Are you seeking space and guidance to unleash and develop your creativity?
ArtShack is a community arts organisation based in the rural hamlet of Berwick Wharf, Shrewsbury. Our space is a unique environment where you can develop your artistic ability in a creative non-judgmental and friendly atmosphere. ArtShack participants have the option of attending regular get creative sessions (every Monday & Wednesday) under the guidance of highly experienced artists/teachers and also participate in specialist workshops.
At ArtShack you will be encouraged to develop your own creative voice, as well as have the opportunity to explore many techniques such as printmaking, textiles and embroidery, painting, drawing, ceramics and mixed media work. We welcome people of all ages and abilities from the complete novice to the more experienced.
ArtShack also hosts Bellydance classes & workshops for beginners and improvers, taught by JWAAD trained instructor Sue Lloyd.
We can facilitate group bookings, corporate events and professional development – sessions can be tailored to suit your requirements.
